I was very lucky to catch a few pictures of owls and a sea eagle just before Chritmas at a zoo in Finland. This is a snowy owl, seen at the zoo on Högholmen – Korkeasaari in Helsinki in Finland.. Latin name Bubo scandiacus. More about it on wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowy_owl.

Such a pretty bird. I’ve yet to see one in the wild, although they come to visit the area quite often.
